In Monday's non-league contest, the host Chuckey-Doak Black Knights basketball team scored a good 61-43 triumph over the University School Buccaneers.

The Black Knights (15-12) will now prepare for their contest against Cherokee (Rogersville, TN). The Chiefs go into the non-league contest with a 7-20 record. In their last contest, Cherokee was topped by Grainger (Rutledge, TN), 62-23, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Buccaneers battle the Washburn Pirates (Washburn, TN) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 11. University School will attempt to better on its 1-22 season record. The Pirates go into the contest with a 17-8 record after their 52-44 non-league win over Cumberland Gap (Cumberland Gap, TN).
