Spectators at Monday's league bout between the Downers Grove South Mustangs (Downers Grove, IL) and the host Hinsdale South Hornets (Darien, IL), saw Downers Grove South's basketball team nip Hinsdale South by a tally of 55-49.
The Mustangs now possess a 16-14 record.
With the loss, Hinsdale South falls to 12-17 on the campaign. The Hornets host Glenbard West (Glen Ellyn, IL) to play the Hilltoppers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 11. The Hilltoppers go into the bout with a record of 18-12. Glenbard West won 48-12 in their recent non-league bout against Conant (Hoffman Estates, IL)
