The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the East Carter Raiders (Grayson, KY) and the visiting Rowan County Vikings (Morehead, KY), observed East Carter's basketball team edge Rowan County by a margin of 54-50.
The Raiders (16-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Fairview (Ashland, KY). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 4-18 record. In their last challenge, Fairview edged Hannan (Ashton, WV), 54-19, in a non-league challenge.

The Tomcats come into the challenge with a 13-9 record after their 52-39 non-league loss to Portsmouth (Portsmouth, OH).
