The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Highland Hawks (Warrenton, VA) and the visiting Fredericksburg Academy Falcons (Fredericksburg, VA), observed Highland's basketball team overwhelm Fredericksburg Academy by a score of 53-12.

The Hawks (17-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Quantico (Quantico, VA). The Warriors come into the VISAA Division III challenge with a 4-13 record. In their last challenge, Quantico was routed by Randolph-Macon Academy (Front Royal, VA), 38-9, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Falcons encounter the St. Margaret's Scotties (Tappahannock, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 12. Fredericksburg Academy will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record. The Scotties come into the challenge with a 16-8 record after their 55-43 league win over Collegiate (Richmond, VA).
