The McDonald Blue Devils basketball team scored 65 points and limited the visiting Heartland Christian Lions to 48 in the Blue Devils non-league triumph on Monday.
The Blue Devils now have a 14-8 record. They play next when they host United for a non-league game on Wednesday, February 12. McDonald will confront a Golden Eagles team coming off a 48-10 league loss to Columbiana (Columbiana, OH). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 12-10.
With the loss, Heartland Christian falls to 11-10 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Valley Christian (Youngstown, OH) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Wednesday, February 12. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 5-16. Valley Christian lost 48-32 in their recent non-league game against Lowellville (Lowellville, OH)
