Mississippi High School Basketball - Loyd Star fells St. Andrew's Episcopal

The Loyd Star Hornets basketball team scored 40 points and limited the visiting St. Andrew's Episcopal Saints to 27 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Monday.
The Hornets now possess a 9-11 record. They play next when they travel to Bay Springs for a non-league game on Friday, February 14. Loyd Star will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 61-25 non-league win over North Forrest (Hattiesburg, MS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 23-5.
With the loss, St. Andrew's Episcopal falls to 1-10 on the campaign.
