Virginia High School Basketball - Monacan succumbs to Manchester

February 10, 2025: Midlothian, VA 23112

In Monday's league match, the Manchester Lancers (Midlothian, VA) basketball squad felled the visiting Monacan Chiefs (Richmond, VA), by a final score of 65-54.

With the victory, Manchester upgrades its record to 16-3 on the year. The Lancers travel to Cosby (Midlothian, VA) to face the Titans in a Dominion match on Tuesday, February 11. The Titans enter the match with a record of 14-4. Cosby won 109-4 in their recent league match against Richmond City School of the Arts (Richmond, VA)

The Chiefs now sport a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Huguenot for a Dominion match on Tuesday, February 11. Monacan will face a Falcons squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Powhatan (Powhatan, VA). The Falcons record now stands at 2-12.
