The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Marquez Gladiators (Huntington Park, CA) and the visiting Sotomayor Wolves (Los Angeles, CA), observed Marquez's basketball team overwhelm Sotomayor by a margin of 58-32.

The Gladiators (16-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Elizabeth (Cudahy, CA). The Bulldogs come into the Southern challenge with a 3-11 record. In their last challenge, Elizabeth trounced Maywood Academy (Maywood, CA), 34-26, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Wolves battle the Maywood CES Wolfpack (Maywood, CA) in a Southern challenge, on Wednesday, February 12. Sotomayor will attempt to better on its 8-8 season record. The Wolfpack come into the challenge with a 9-5 record after their 58-18 league win over Torres (Los Angeles, CA).
