In Monday's non-league test, the Ottumwa Bulldogs (Ottumwa, IA) basketball squad trounced the visiting Mt. Pleasant Panthers (Mt. Pleasant, IA), by a final score of 49-14.
The Bulldogs (14-6) will now prepare for their contest against Ames (Ames, IA). The Little Cyclones go into the non-league contest with a 11-9 record. In their last contest, Ames smashed Des Moines East (Des Moines, IA), 63-12, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Panthers confront the West Burlington Falcons (West Burlington, IA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Mt. Pleasant will attempt to better on its 3-18 season record. The Falcons go into the contest with a 6-13 record after their 41-27 non-league win over Pekin (Packwood, IA).
