Illinois High School Basketball - New Athens routed by Red Bud

The Red Bud Musketeers bounced the host New Athens Yellow Jackets basketball squad by a final score of 59-11 in Monday's non-league outing.

Next, the Musketeers clash with the Carlyle Indians/Lady Indians (Carlyle, IL) in a Cahokia - Illinois outing, on Thursday, February 13. Red Bud will attempt to upgrade on its 18-12 season record. The Indians/Lady Indians enter the outing with a 24-5 record after their 50-37 non-league win over Pinckneyville (Pinckneyville, IL).

The Yellow Jackets (3-17) will now prepare for their outing against Trico (Campbell Hill, IL). The Pioneers enter the non-league outing with a 15-10 record. In their last outing, Trico was overwhelmed by Chester (Chester, IL), 37-34, in a non-league outing.
