California High School Basketball - Van Nuys holds off Sylmar

In Monday's league contest, the visiting Van Nuys Wolves basketball team scored a close 62-58 triumph over the Sylmar Spartans.

The Wolves (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against Canoga Park (Canoga Park, CA). The Hunters go into the Valley Mission contest with a 1-12 record.

In their next game, the Spartans confront the Chatsworth Chancellors (Chatsworth, CA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, February 12. Sylmar will attempt to better on its 4-10 season record. The Chancellors go into the contest with a 9-13 record after their 58-47 league win over Cleveland (Reseda, CA).
