The Petoskey Northmen basketball team scored 55 points and limited the host Alpena Wildcats to 47 in the Northmen league triumph on Monday.

The Northmen now have a 14-3 record. They play next when they travel to Gaylord for a game on Friday, February 14. Petoskey will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 38-32 non-league win over Hillman (Hillman, MI). The Blue Devils record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Alpena falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Traverse City Central (Traverse City, MI) to confront the Trojans in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 11. The Trojans go into the game with a record of 1-2.
