In Monday's non-league test, the Giles Spartans (Pearisburg, VA) basketball squad trounced the visiting Grayson County Blue Devils (Independence, VA), by a score of 51-14.
Next, the Spartans encounter the Galax Maroon Tide (Galax, VA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, February 13. Giles will attempt to improve on its 10-5 season record. The Maroon Tide come into the test with a 1-9 record after their 52-47 non-league loss to Grayson County (Independence, VA).
The Blue Devils (1-14) will now prepare for their test against Bland County (Rocky Gap, VA). The Bears come into the non-league test with a 0-10 record.
