In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Utica Eisenhower Eagles basketball team scored a close 31-29 triumph over the L'Anse Creuse North Crusaders.

The Eagles (3-11) will now prepare for their contest against Chippewa Valley (Clinton Township, MI). The Big Reds go into the non-league contest with a 13-2 record. In their last contest, Chippewa Valley nipped Roseville (Roseville, MI), 66-61, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Crusaders confront the River Rouge Panthers (River Rouge, MI) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 11. L'Anse Creuse North will attempt to better on its 0-6 season record.
