The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Sotomayor Wolves (Los Angeles, CA) and the visiting Marquez Gladiators (Huntington Park, CA), observed Sotomayor's basketball team edge Marquez by a score of 43-40.

The Wolves (12-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Maywood CES (Maywood, CA). The Wolfpack come into the challenge with a 8-3 record. In their last challenge, Maywood CES was tipped by Marquez (Huntington Park, CA), 58-40, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Gladiators battle the Elizabeth Bulldogs (Cudahy, CA) in a challenge, on Thursday, February 13. Marquez will attempt to improve on its 13-9 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 0-6 record after their 0-0 league Sotomayor (Los Angeles, CA).
