Greenwood Rangers (Midland, TX) supporters went home thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their baseball team beat the visiting Permian Panthers (Odessa, TX), 4-2 in a non-league test.
The Rangers now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Ropes for a non-league test on Monday, February 16.
With the defeat, Permian drops to 0-1 on the year. The Panthers host Lubbock-Cooper (Lubbock, TX) to battle the Pirates in a non-league test on Friday, February 13. The Pirates go into the test with a record of 0-0.
