The Union Red Hawks basketball team scored 63 points and limited the host Thornapple Kellogg Trojans to 60 in the Red Hawks non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Red Hawks now possess a 5-11 record. They play next when they host South Christian for a non-league game on Friday, February 13. Union will clash with a Sailors squad coming off a 81-58 league win over Wayland (Wayland, MI). The Sailors record now stands at 16-2.

The Trojans (3-15) will now prepare for their test against Wayland (Wayland, MI). The Wildcats come into the Ottawa-Kent - Gold test with a 5-13 record. In their last test, Wayland held off West Michigan Aviation Academy (Grand Rapids, MI), 46-44, in a non-league test.
