The Rule Bobcats basketball team (Rule, TX), was overwhelmed 86-41 in Friday's league battle with the host Aspermont Hornets (Aspermont, TX)
The Hornets now possess a 24-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rotan for a 1A Region II District 15 battle on Tuesday, February 15. Aspermont will confront a Yellowhammers team coming off a 64-39 league loss to Roby (Roby, TX). The Yellowhammers record now stands at 6-14.
The Bobcats (1-11) will now prepare for their battle against Paint Creek (Haskell, TX). The Pirates come into the 1A Region II District 15 battle with a 0-7 record.
