    The Deshler Tigers (Tuscumbia, AL) basketball nipped the host Central Wildcats (Florence, AL), 76-75 in Friday's league test.

    The Tigers (15-12) will now prepare for their test against West Morgan (Trinity, AL). The Rebels go into the non-league test with a 17-11 record. In their last test, West Morgan was tipped by Brooks (Killen, AL), 53-50, in a league test.
