Ohio High School Basketball - West Muskingum can't hold off New Lexington

The New Lexington Panthers basketball team scored 42 points and restricted the visiting West Muskingum Tornadoes to 40 in the Panthers league victory on Friday.
The Panthers now sport a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tri-Valley for a Muskingum Valley contest on Saturday, February 12. New Lexington will battle a Scotties team coming off a 63-17 league win over John Glenn (New Concord, OH). The Scotties record now stands at 14-4.
The Tornadoes (10-10) will now prepare for their contest against Crooksville (Crooksville, OH). The Ceramics go into the Muskingum Valley bout with a 0-21 record. In their last bout, Crooksville was edged by Non Varsity Opponent (, ), 54-32, in a non-league bout.
