    • Utah High School Basketball - Springville can't hold off Wasatch

    February 11, 2022: Heber City, UT 84032

    The Wasatch Wasps basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Springville Red Devils to 50 in the Wasps league triumph on Friday.

    The Wasps now sport a 9-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Spanish Fork for a 5A Region 9 contest on Tuesday, February 15. Wasatch will battle a Dons team coming off a 68-49 league win over Provo (Provo, UT). The Dons record now stands at 12-8.

    The Red Devils (11-9) will now prepare for their contest against Maple Mountain (Spanish Fork, UT). The Golden Eagles enter the 5A Region 9 contest with a 8-12 record. In their last contest, Maple Mountain was nudged by Salem Hills (Salem, UT), 67-62, in a league contest.
