Texas High School Basketball - United South can't hold off United

The United Longhorns basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting United South Panthers to 47 in the Longhorns league triumph on Friday.
The Longhorns now sport a 15-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Laredo LBJ for a 6A Region IV District 30 contest on Monday, February 14. United will battle a Wolves team coming off a 62-58 league win over Eagle Pass (Eagle Pass, TX). The Wolves record now stands at 22-11.
The Panthers (16-17) will now prepare for their contest against Nixon (Laredo, TX). The Mustangs enter the 6A Region IV District 30 contest with a 23-8 record. In their last contest, Nixon nudged Alexander (Laredo, TX), 56-53, in a league contest.
