Connecticut High School Basketball - Ellington can't hold off Suffield

The Suffield Wildcats basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Ellington Knights to 54 in the Wildcats league triumph on Friday.
The Wildcats now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sports & Medical Sciences Academy for a North Central Connecticut contest on Saturday, February 12. Suffield will battle a Tigers team coming off a 49-15 league loss to Rockville (Vernon, CT). The Tigers record now stands at 2-13.
The Knights (7-9) will now prepare for their contest against Berlin (Berlin, CT). The Redcoats enter the non-league contest with a 11-6 record. In their last contest, Berlin nudged Bristol Central (Bristol, CT), 54-26, in a non-league contest.
