In Friday's league outing, the Great Bridge Wildcats (Chesapeake, VA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Hickory Hawks (Chesapeake, VA), by a margin of 66-40.
The Wildcats (17-4) will now prepare for their outing against Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA). The Hornets go into the Southeastern outing with a 8-9 record. In their last outing, Deep Creek was trounced by Lakeland (Suffolk, VA), 45-42, in a league outing.
The Hawks now own a 3-14 record. They play next when they host Grassfield for a Southeastern outing on Tuesday, February 15. Hickory will encounter a Grizzlies squad coming off a 61-49 league win over Indian River (Chesapeake, VA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 5-8.
