Alaska High School Basketball - North Pole knocked off by Monroe Catholic

The Monroe Catholic Rams basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting North Pole Patriots to 40 in the Rams non-league triumph on Friday.
The Rams now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nome-Beltz for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 12. Monroe Catholic will battle a Nanooks team coming off a 31-29 non-league win over Valdez (Valdez, AK). The Nanooks record now stands at 10-5.
Next up, the Patriots play the Valdez Buccaneers (Valdez, AK) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 12. North Pole will attempt to upgrade on its 11-5 season record. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a 7-8 record after their 31-29 non-league loss to Nome-Beltz (Nome, AK).
