Colorado High School Ice Hockey - Standley Lake succumbs to Monarch

In Friday's league challenge, the Monarch Coyotes (Louisville, CO) ice hockey team bounced the host Standley Lake Gators (Westminster, CO), by a margin of 9-4.
The Coyotes now possess a 13-3 record. They play next when they host Fort Collins for a 5A North challenge on Saturday, February 12. Monarch will play a Lambkins team coming off a 6-3 league loss to Ralston Valley (Arvada, CO). The Lambkins record now stands at 9-5.
The Gators (2-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Chatfield (Littleton, CO). The Chargers come into the non-league challenge with a 3-11 record. In their last challenge, Chatfield was ripped by Regis Jesuit (Aurora, CO), 6-1, in a league challenge.
