In Friday's league battle, the visiting Hardin-Jefferson Hawks soccer squad scored a close 1-0 win over the Lumberton Raiders.
The Hawks (3-8) will now prepare for their battle against Little Cypress-Mauriceville (Orange, TX). The Bears go into the 4A Region 3 District 21 battle with a 4-3 record. In their last battle, Little Cypress-Mauriceville nipped Bridge City (Bridge City, TX), 6-0, in a league battle.
The Raiders (4-3) will now prepare for their battle against Jasper (Jasper, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 4A Region 3 District 21 battle with a 4-5 record. In their last battle, Jasper nipped Vidor (Vidor, TX), 2-1, in a league battle.
