In Saturday's league outing, the Achievement First (Hartford, CT) basketball squad edged the host University Hawks (Hartford, CT), by a count of 48-44.
The (2-14) will now prepare for their outing against Academy of Science and Innovation (New Britain, CT). The Ravens go into the Capitol Region outing with a 13-4 record. In their last outing, Academy of Science and Innovation held off Parish Hill (Chaplin, CT), 67-21, in a league outing.
The Hawks now hold a 3-14 record. They play next when they travel to Classical Magnet for a Capitol Region outing on Monday, February 13. University will clash with a Gladiators squad coming off a 57-55 league loss to Capital Prep (Hartford, CT). The Gladiators record now stands at 10-5.
