The Anthony Wildcats basketball team scored 67 points and held the host Fort Hancock Mustangs to 55 in the Wildcats league triumph on Saturday.
The Wildcats now sport a 10-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host El Paso HomeSchool for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 14. Anthony will battle a Panthers team coming off a 51-7 league win over Radford (El Paso, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 11-6.
The Mustangs (10-15) will now prepare for their contest against Wink (Wink, TX). The Wildcats enter the 2A Region I District 6 contest with a 20-4 record. In their last contest, Wink ran past Fort Hancock (Fort Hancock, TX), 70-44, in a league contest.
