The Cumberland Beavers (Cumberland, WI) basketball crushed the host Ashland Oredockers (Ashland, WI), 79-41 in Saturday's league test.

The Beavers (14-6) will now prepare for their test against Hayward (Hayward, WI). The Hurricanes go into the Heart O'North test with a 3-17 record. In their last test, Hayward walloped Spooner (Spooner, WI), 43-42, in a league test.

The Oredockers now own a 6-14 record. They play next when they travel to St. Croix Falls for a Heart O'North test on Tuesday, February 14. Ashland will encounter a Saints squad coming off a 80-61 league loss to Cameron (Cameron, WI). The Saints record now stands at 6-13.
