Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Aspen Skiers (Aspen, CO) and the host Rifle Bears (Rifle, CO), saw Aspen's basketball squad knock off Rifle by a count of 50-36.

With the victory, Aspen upgrades its record to 14-6 on the campaign. The Skiers travel to Grand Valley (Parachute, CO) to play the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 14. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 8-9. Grand Valley won 55-54 in their recent league challenge against North Fork (Hotchkiss, CO)

Next up, the Bears play the Summit Tigers (Frisco, CO) in a 4A Western Slope challenge, on Monday, February 13. Rifle will attempt to upgrade on its 1-19 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 5-15 record after their 58-50 league win over Steamboat Springs (Steamboat Springs, CO).
