Indiana High School Basketball - Austin overwhelmed by Providence

The Austin Eagles basketball team (Austin, IN), was overwhelmed 60-25 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Providence Pioneers (Clarksville, IN)

The Pioneers now possess a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Harrison for a non-league battle on Friday, February 17. Providence will confront a Cougars team coming off a 61-52 non-league win over Crawford County (Marengo, IN). The Cougars record now stands at 9-8.

The Eagles (5-15) will now prepare for their battle against Southwestern (Hanover, IN). The Rebels come into the non-league battle with a 17-3 record. In their last battle, Southwestern trounced Rising Sun (Rising Sun, IN), 71-70, in a league battle.
