The Mt. Edgecumbe Braves topped the host Barrow Whalers basketball team by a final score of 53-43 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Braves face the Houston Hawks (Big Lake, AK) in a 3A Eastern game, on Friday, February 17. Mt. Edgecumbe will attempt to move on its 13-3 season record.
With the defeat, Barrow moves to 8-10 on the year. The Whalers travel to Nome-Beltz (Nome, AK) to face the Nanooks in a 3A Western game on Friday, February 17. The Nanooks enter the game with a record of 14-2. Nome-Beltz won 56-45 in their recent non-league game against North Pole (North Pole, AK)
