The North Tahoe Lakers basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Battle Mountain Longhorns to 42 in the Lakers league triumph on Saturday.

The Lakers now sport a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Yerington for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 16. North Tahoe will battle a Lions team coming off a 67-48 league loss to Incline (Incline Village, NV). The Lions record now stands at 9-14.

The Longhorns (11-11) will now prepare for their contest against Pershing County (Lovelock, NV). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 11-14 record. In their last contest, Pershing County was defeated by West Wendover (West Wendover, NV), 70-22, in a league contest.
