Churchill Chargers (San Antonio, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Marshall Rams (San Antonio, TX), 56-51 in a league bout.

With the win, Churchill upgrades its record to 20-12 on the season. The Chargers travel to Lee (San Antonio, TX) to clash with the Volunteers in a 6A Region IV District 28 bout on Wednesday, February 15. The Volunteers go into the bout with a record of 13-20. Lee lost 70-51 in their recent league bout against Johnson (San Antonio, TX)

Next up, the Rams clash with the SA Roosevelt Rough Riders (San Antonio, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 28 bout, on Wednesday, February 15. Marshall will attempt to upgrade on its 14-18 season record. The Rough Riders go into the bout with a 12-22 record after their 60-53 league loss to Reagan (San Antonio, TX).
