Dickinson Midgets (Dickinson, ND) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Turtle Mountain Braves (Belcourt, ND), 85-81 in a league bout.

With the victory, Dickinson upgrades its record to 8-8 on the campaign. The Midgets host Williston (Williston, ND) to play the Coyotes in a A West bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Coyotes come into the bout with a record of 3-10. Williston won 100-93 in their recent league bout against Mandan (Mandan, ND)

Next up, the Braves play the Bismarck Demons (Bismarck, ND) in a A West bout, on Friday, February 17. Turtle Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record.
