In Saturday's league outing, the Eastern Greene Thunderbirds (Bloomfield, IN) basketball squad beat the visiting White River Valley Wolverines (Switz City, IN), by a count of 47-32.

The Thunderbirds (8-12) will now prepare for their outing against Shakamak (Jasonville, IN). The Lakers go into the Southwestern Indiana outing with a 11-9 record. In their last outing, Shakamak was topped by Riverton Parke (Montezuma, IN), 71-69, in a non-league outing.

The Wolverines now hold a 5-16 record. They play next when they host Evansville Day for a non-league outing on Friday, February 17.
