Murphysboro Red Devils (Murphysboro, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Harrisburg Bulldogs (Harrisburg, IL), 56-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Murphysboro upgrades its record to 18-8 on the season. The Red Devils travel to Wayne City (Wayne City, IL) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 22-7. Wayne City lost 57-44 in their recent non-league bout against Carmi-White County (Carmi, IL)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Carterville Lions (Carterville, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Harrisburg will attempt to upgrade on its 11-15 season record.
