The Powell County Pirates basketball team (Stanton, KY), was routed 62-41 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Hazard Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs (Hazard, KY)
The Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs now sport a 20-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Martin County for a non-league battle on Monday, February 13. Hazard will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 68-59 league loss to Paintsville (Paintsville, KY). The Cardinals record now stands at 19-8.
The Pirates (10-14) will now prepare for their battle against Montgomery County (Mt. Sterling, KY). The Indians come into the non-league battle with a 13-9 record.
