The Houston Hawks (Big Lake, AK) basketball crushed the host Homer Mariners (Homer, AK), 87-53 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Hawks (12-4) will now prepare for their test against Sitka (Sitka, AK). The Wolves go into the 3A Eastern test with a 9-5 record. In their last test, Sitka was trounced by Wrangell (Wrangell, AK), 34-29, in a non-league test.
The Mariners now own a 2-16 record. They play next when they host Redington for a non-league test on Saturday, February 18.
