In Saturday's league outing, the Martin Luther Spartans (Greendale, WI) basketball squad edged the visiting Shoreland Lutheran Pacers (Somers, WI), by a margin of 57-52.
The Spartans (16-8) will now prepare for their outing against Catholic Central (Burlington, WI). The Hilltoppers go into the Metro Classic outing with a 4-19 record. In their last outing, Catholic Central was tipped by St. Thomas More (Milwaukee, WI), 78-47, in a league outing.
The Pacers now own a 8-12 record. They play next when they travel to Racine Lutheran for a Metro Classic outing on Tuesday, February 14. Shoreland Lutheran will clash with a Crusaders squad coming off a 83-73 league win over The Prairie School (Racine, WI). The Crusaders record now stands at 7-13.
