Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Summit Tigers (Frisco, CO) and the visiting Steamboat Springs Sailors (Steamboat Springs, CO), saw Summit's basketball squad knock off Steamboat Springs by a count of 58-50.

With the victory, Summit upgrades its record to 5-15 on the campaign. The Tigers host Rifle (Rifle, CO) to play the Bears in a 4A Western Slope challenge on Monday, February 13. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 1-19. Rifle lost 50-36 in their recent league challenge against Aspen (Aspen, CO)

Next up, the Sailors play the Moffat County Bulldogs (Craig, CO) in a 4A Western Slope challenge, on Tuesday, February 14. Steamboat Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 15-6 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 6-15 record after their 51-43 league loss to Delta (Delta, CO).
