Wisconsin High School Basketball - Verona knocked off by Madison Memorial

The Madison Memorial Spartans basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Verona Wildcats to 60 in the Spartans league triumph on Saturday.
The Spartans now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Janesville Craig for a Big Eight contest on Tuesday, February 14. Madison Memorial will battle a Cougars team coming off a 93-69 league win over Madison West (Madison, WI). The Cougars record now stands at 10-9.
The Wildcats (11-7) will now prepare for their contest against Sun Prairie East (Sun Prairie, WI). The Cardinals enter the Big Eight contest with a 1-8 record. In their last contest, Sun Prairie East was defeated by Stoughton (Stoughton, WI), 80-72, in a non-league contest.
