The Sandia Matadors basketball team (Albuquerque, NM), was nudged 58-53 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting La Cueva Bears (Albuquerque, NM)
The Bears now possess a 14-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Farmington for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 14.
The Matadors (7-10) will now prepare for their battle against Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 14-8 record. In their last battle, Piedra Vista was nudged by West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM), 55-52, in a non-league battle.
