New Mexico High School Basketball - Rio Grande overwhelmed by Albuquerque

The Rio Grande Ravens basketball team (Albuquerque, NM), was overwhelmed 58-14 in Saturday's league battle with the host Albuquerque Bulldogs (Albuquerque, NM)

The Bulldogs now possess a 21-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Manzano for a 5A District 5 battle on Wednesday, February 15. Albuquerque will confront a Monarchs team coming off a 59-29 league win over Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM). The Monarchs record now stands at 10-12.

The Ravens (1-20) will now prepare for their battle against Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM). The Tigers come into the 5A District 5 battle with a 4-20 record. In their last battle, Los Lunas trounced Capital (Santa Fe, NM), 52-41, in a league battle.
