Hazen Wildcats (Hardwick, VT) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Blue Mountain Bucks (Wells River, VT), 51-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Hazen upgrades its record to 13-1 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Craftsbury Academy (Craftsbury Common, VT) to play the Chargers in a CVL bout on Thursday, February 16. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Bucks play the Stowe Raiders (Stowe, VT) in a Mountain bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Blue Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 14-3 season record.
