New York High School Basketball - Clinton knocked off by Central Valley Academy

The Central Valley Academy Thunder basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Clinton Warriors to 35 in the Thunder non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Thunder now sport a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Camden for a Section 3 Tri-Valley contest on Tuesday, February 14. Central Valley Academy will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 58-34 non-league loss to Poland (Poland, NY). The Blue Devils record now stands at 6-12.

The Warriors (7-11) will now prepare for their contest against Mt. Markham (West Winfield, NY). The Mustangs enter the Section 3 Center State III contest with a 9-8 record. In their last contest, Mt. Markham was defeated by Waterville (Waterville, NY), 58-51, in a league contest.
