Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Sandia Prep Sundevils (Albuquerque, NM) and the host Cottonwood Classical Prep Coyotes (Albuquerque, NM), saw Sandia Prep's basketball squad overcome Cottonwood Classical Prep by a tally of 55-37.

With the victory, Sandia Prep improves its record to 15-8 on the campaign. The Sundevils travel to Cuba (Cuba, NM) to confront the Rams in a 3A District 5 challenge on Tuesday, February 14. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 12-12. Cuba won 63-33 in their recent non-league test against Legacy Academy (Albuquerque, NM)

The Coyotes now own a 7-15 record. They play next when they travel to East Mountain for a 3A District 5 test on Tuesday, February 14. Cottonwood Classical Prep will encounter a Timberwolves squad coming off a 32-30 non-league win over Santa Fe Prep/Santa Fe Waldorf (Santa Fe, NM). The Timberwolves record now stands at 5-18.
