Douglas Bearcats (Douglas, WY) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Wheatland Bulldogs (Wheatland, WY), 60-22 in a league bout.

With the win, Douglas upgrades its record to 18-1 on the season. The Bearcats host Newcastle (Newcastle, WY) to clash with the Dogies in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 16. The Dogies go into the bout with a record of 13-3. Newcastle lost 45-42 in their recent non-league bout against Belle Fourche (Belle Fourche, SD)

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Torrington Trailblazers (Torrington, WY) in a 3A Southeast bout, on Friday, February 17. Wheatland will attempt to upgrade on its 14-7 season record. The Trailblazers go into the bout with a 9-8 record after their 45-37 non-league win over Glenrock (Glenrock, WY).
