Springer Red Devils (Springer, NM) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Maxwell Bears (Maxwell, NM), 64-12 in a league bout.
With the victory, Springer upgrades its record to 18-4 on the campaign. The Red Devils host Cimarron (Cimarron, NM) to play the Rams in a A District 5 bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Rams come into the bout with a record of 11-9.
Next up, the Bears play the Des Moines Demons (Des Moines, NM) in a A District 5 bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Maxwell will attempt to upgrade on its 7-17 season record. The Demons come into the bout with a 5-19 record after their 45-30 league win over Wagon Mound (Wagon Mound, NM).
